Homespun magazine: Celebrating the art of creative living

Celebrating the Art of Creative Living in central Minnesota

A regional magazine published since 1992, Homespun has, in a sense, served as a "who's who" and "what's what" for creative living in our Central Minnesota area.

Ten times each year the pages of Homespun are filled with a variety of features that encourage our readers to refer again and again to the magazine -- recipes, calendar of events, articles on antiques and collectibles, as well as columns by several regular contributors who offer their perspective on our life and times. Through our pages readers are introduced to talented artisans who live and work in our area -- Crosslake to McGregor, Brainerd to Mille Lacs Lake, Aitkin to Pine River. We've featured potters and poets, stitchers and sculptors, weavers and woodworkers, bakers and bead artists, musicians and massage therapists. Last month we featured a couple who raises emu. There's no telling what might turn up in the pages of Homespun!

Our readers tell us they keep each issue of Homespun to share with family and friends over and over. Many visitors have established a permanent link to our area with subscriptions to Homespun.
